Typer Shark! Deluxe 1.02 is a game aimed to train players in typewriting.
When the game begins, you´re offered to take a test to adjust the game speed to your typewriting skills. You can repeat this test in the future, while you improve your typing speed.
The game has three playing modes: Adventure, Abyss and Typing Tutor.
Adventure has five levels of difficulty. You´ll have to type the words that are written on the sharks in order to zap them out of the water.
The words on the sharks are longer while you advance levels. They are usually related in each wave (animals, writers, etc.). You´ll have to zap some piranhas as well, since they are smaller you can zap them typing the only letter they have on them. At the end of each stage you´ll have a bonus time, you can type the proposed words to gain more points. The difficulty increased as you complete levels, and new threats appear.
You can decide where to go over the map. You´ll have to type the letter that names the desired destination.
In Abyss mode you´ll have to zap sharks and other threats, but there are no stages. Your progress is awarded width depth feets, and is noted every 400 feet.
Typing tutor is the educational part of the game. You will be taught to type properly, using some lessons. |
